What I'd suggest are seven π's, just like Mike Harris and I (and a bunch of other people) had back in the seventies. Remember those? Your brother made a bunch of 'em back then. Here's what they look like now, very similar to the seventies model:

The thing is, seven π cornerhorns need to be placed in room corners. If your girlfriend doesn't have two good corners to put them in, then four π's speakers might be better for her. Another nice option is to use the mid and tweeter section of the seven π and use a four π as a sub below it.

How about we get together right after Christmas and talk speakers? We can decide which of the designs are best and ask Kelly to build a pair for old times sake. If he doesn't have time, we'll use the current cabinet shop. Either way, we'll get your lady a nice set of speakers that I know she'll love.
