Hi Wayne!
Stage 4 series can be suitable with a SET tube amp (300B JEL type). Which are the most important tonal differences with the Theater 4?
I mostly listen to orchestral music, contemporary & classical, & world music. Can you send me (if they're suitable) the Stage four plans to closely consider them?
Thanks
Vincenzo

The Stage four π speaker sounds a little fuller in the bass, which makes it better suited for half-space to quarter-space placement, eighth-space is too much. It is also a bit harder to drive for some SET amps, but others sound fabulous. It depends as much on the output circuit configuration as the output tube. The Theater four π speaker is very rich sounding, works with any amplifier and is best placed in quarter-space or eighth-space.
