I am planning a Pi users group meeting at my home in MA on Dec 3rd.

For those of you interested in attending please email me at: jshocrylas@yahoo.com.

It would be great if some folks would bring some freaked-out modded preamp, amp, and subwoofers to add to the mix!

I'll bring a laptop RTA rig, remote speaker switch, Mighty Karlsons, and some bottled inebriant. Maybe a Pi Studio 1 inspired battery powered boombox.

When Wayne switched over to Audioroundtable I found I couldn't log on with my old moniker "garlnd" so this is what I came up with with.
I hope to be able to attend! It's been a while since I've gotten out for some audio fun!

I wonder if someone else had already registered "Garland." I always assumed you had. I can check if you like.

That would be great, Wayne. [message #48170 is a reply to message #48166] Sun, 13 November 2005 08:51 Go to previous messageGo to next message

I thought that Garlandgarland was a bit to much (some might think one garland is too much). Also, Wayne, I can't open up the dwg file on the wood horn plans; I just get the text- no image or dwg on my Mac. I'll try Monday on the PC at work.

Thanks!

Garland

Try re-registering Garland now. It was one of the first names registered, so I think you must have forgotten your password. I've deleted the login so you can re-assign it. As for the horn drawing, it's an image file, not an AutoCAD DWG file. But it isn't an attachment, it's an inline image. So I think maybe that's why the Mac doesn't like it. You could probably extract it somehow but it may be easier just to display it on your work PC.
