I love the sound of good ribbons. But they don't have the output of a horn, and I don't suggest using them as a substitute tweeter for any of the models of four π loudspeakers. The only speakers that might be suitable for a redesign using ribbons would be the Studio Series one π, two π and possibly the Professional Series seven π loudspeakers.
