The four π is available with a menu of options. For the midwoofer, you can choose between the Eminence Omega 15 or JBL 2226, the tweeter can be either the Eminence PSD2002 or the B&C DE250, and your choice of crossover components from entry level parts like Solen or Dayton to audiophile components like Auricaps and Mills resistors.

The π speakers I'll have at LSAF use JBL 2226 woofers, B&C DE250 tweeters and top-of-the-line crossovers with Auricaps, Mills resistors and 15 guage pure copper coils.

Amplification will be provided by an Audio Note Kit 2, a Stoetkit Jr MkII and Selectronic ProFet monoblocks. I like to switch amps periodically through the show to let people hear my speakers with various amps. The source I'll be using is a Denon DVD-3800BDCI.
