Yes, it appears to be quite a driver. I wonder if it has the same sound as the 2226, just better bottom octave performance. The 2226's are great in my system. Every bass line is extremely defined, not the blur you get with most woofer systems. Let me know if you get any leads on 2245's or 2242's. I've been keeping my eyes open but haven't found anything yet.
