It sure doesn't hurt to go to a larger coil with lower DCR. The first coils I used were 20 guage, and they sounded great with most amps. But we replaced them with 18 guage coils simply because the cost difference was so small. That reduced DC resistance about 2/3rds. You can go with the 10uF Auricap on the tweeter, but the price jump here is not so small - The Auricap is about $40.00 more.
