Bill, I have not found a SS electronic crossover that has been blessed for audiophile use that did not cost near a $1000.00! However the Steve Bench tube powered electronic crossover would be a better match to the level of quality you are using. Ron

The Bugle's a great design and the use of OPA2134 opamps probably helps its sound too. Replace the stock opamps in this $100 XO with OPA2134's and you may end up with something very decent. My experience with active XO and multiamp-ing is that even if the XO is so-so, you'll still get a huge improvement. The only reason why I don't have my system in this configuration full-time is that my wife finds it hard to use.
