I am using 4 PI's with a Grounded Grid preamp, and am contemplating the purchase of a pair of Transcendent Sound T16 mono-blocs. My 4 PI's are using My low frequency drivers are Delta Pro 15's.

I listen to all kinds of music - particularily Rock - turned up to ear splitting levels...

Any comments would be appreciated.

I ran a pair of Theatre 4's over a year thru 2 1/2 watt Paramours with NO pre-amp. Got plenty loud on the stage at the first MAF with the addition of the Foeplay pre-amp.
They are also more dynamic with more watts played thru my 70 watt HT receiver.
Turn'm up, all they do is get louder! None of that distortion you expect at high decibel levels, just the feeling you get when your Eustachean Tubes melt.
