Want to try a pair of Audax 8 inch midranges (HT210T0) in a pi-type horn crossed to the Eminence 2002 at 1.6 khz. My question is how much gain would the horn provide? From what I can tell you get about a 10db of gain. The Audax mids are rated at 99db sensitivity and pretty flat according to their charts, so I'm assuming in a mid-horn
I might be looking at 109db. Does this seem reasonable. The Yorkville TX8 uses an 8"Audax mid and I have a feeling it is similar to mine, and they spec the midrange at 109db sensitivity. Wayne, what is the sensivity of your midrange horn. Thanks
