HI Everyone., Anyone interested in a GPAC audio meet? I'd be willing to host one (been a while since I did that anyways). Let me know. Either this coming, Saturday, or the next one, or even the next. Let me know what works for you guys (let me know by email) and i'll get back with a definite day). Time: 2-5 pm. Let me know what Saturday works for folks who are interested. -akhileshPS We'll be listening to a lot of gear: Klipschorns (updated crossver) with an 845 amplifer, teresonic magus lowther dx3 single drivers driven by a 45 amp, the DCa 5.5 drivers in a pawo horn and my altec Vott variant triamped with a pushpull 12ax7/el84 for the midwoofs, and a set 12ax7/el84 for the horns. Heck we can even listen to a nice old pair of restored advents that sound pretty sweet. I don;t have much space for anyone else's gear, but folks are encouraged to bring their own program material. If someone has a sweet pushpull amp (el34 or el84) please let me know (we can use that for the dca setup). -akhilesh

I'd like to get together with you and hear your latest setups. We all met at Steve Brown's place in December and it was great to see everyone. Steve makes some really nice sounding tube amps, and he unveiled one for us there. We can also discuss plans for LSAF. Lots of neat things are going to be there this year. Watch this website for more details.

Wayne, No doubt about Steve's tube amps and preamps. My main system consists of his home-built EL34 triode-strapped single ended monoblocks and a built to my custom request 6SN7 preamp which has some really "big-tone" sound to it!
