A person could surely make a nice little one π tower. An Alpha 8 in a 2.0ft3 cabinet tuned to 55Hz makes a nice flat response curve with f3 of 50Hz, so that's pretty cool. But it becomes very sensitive to parameter shifts at that size. I think I might make the box just slightly smaller or tune slightly lower so that any shift towards underdamping doesn't result in a large peak. Maybe 1.8ft3 tuned to 55Hz or 2.0ft3 tuned to 55Hz, someting like that.
