I'm backing into a revision of my TAD/JBL/TAD speakers. The motivator is that I'm going to build a WE205 power amp with a whopping 1.2w/ch of gorgeous tone. This seems like an ideal amp for a monster efficient top half of a 2-way. I've given up on the JBL in the middle; I just don't like its sound.

So I'm thinking of using the the TAD1602 up to 300 or 400 and having a 2" driver, probably the BMS dual diaphragm beast run from 400 on up.

Has anybody used the 21" horn? With what compression driver? woofer? xo?
How did it all sound?
