I saw that new, reasonably priced Vifa tweeter (DX25TG05-04) in the parts area. Is it meant to be used as an alternate to the pizo tweeter in the studio series? I couldn't find much scanning this forum. I guess it would require crossover mods? Sorry if this topic has been done to death already in the forum.

Since the piezo tweeter has been discontinued, our stock of kits containing it is dwindling. So I designed a speaker using the DX25 soft dome tweeter. I really like the KSN1038, especially for its cost. But the DX25 is nice too. The crossover is a 10uF series capacitor followed by a 16 ohm resistor across the tweeter. The midwoofer uses the same 0.5mH coil as in existing kits.
