Esquire

Recieved my pi 2 speakers today. Just want to make sure since I don't know, but I assume the coil on the speaker connetion goes to the tweeter and the one without goes to the woofer. Is that correct?

No, just the opposite. Coil goes to the woofer and straight wire to the tweeter.
