I am thinking about buying a pair of Pi speakers and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which set of speakers would be the most appropriate to the set up and type of music I listen to. I use a bottlehead pre and a solid state quad amp, speakers are ed frias diy, that I am vey happy with, just thought I might need a little more base.I am looking for quality of sound rather than quantity. We listen to jazz, classical, and people like Patricia Barber Dave's True Story. Also the added problem and expense of getting them shipped in kit form to Australia would come into the equation

You could consider a 4 Pi using a Delta lite 15"

My vote is for the Audiophile Series seven π or seven π-18 loudspeakers if you have the budget and the corners to put them in. I agree with Bill on the Theater four π, and might suggest the Theater three π speakers too. I'm very fond of the new eight π, so I think you should look at those. And the tower two π speakers have great bass and overall sound, and the cost is very reasonable.
