I built an 18db, 1200Hz fixed crossover to use with the JBL
3766's (or was that 3677's) for rather cheap. I used schematics bits
from The OpAmp Cookbook by Jung. I stuck an active balance control on each the inputs so I make the efficiency (high, low) adjustments.
It's hooked up to a Klipsch 4.1 amp out of a computer speaker set.
That give me another high/low adjustment. The whole thing isn't
half bad. The amp is pretty cheap, so its noisy, but its all
in the garage, so its a damn nice shop system.
