hi wayne,

if i build the mid horn to go with the pi 7 corner horn do i need to seal the driver (alpha 10)? what will be the ideal volume?

The back volume is to be made larger than 0.5ft3 Above that, it can be arbitrarily large.

Give those seven π's a try! I think you'll love them.

The eight π is a lot of fun too. Less expensive and very versatile. I think they look cool too.

hi wayne,

i already own the pi 4, that's why i go for the pi 7 all i need is an extra driver but i have got a situation here now, i bought the alpha 10" i never knew the pi 8 and the mid horn are using different driver, is there anyway i can use the alpha 10" for my pi 7, what will be the changes in the cross over, enlighten me

You can use the Alpha 10, just like the eight π loudspeaker uses. But if you are building a seven π loudspeaker, use the crossover for the seven π, so that low frequencies aren't augmented and sent to the Alpha 10. You also don't need to vent the midhorn rear chamber. Just make it like is shown in the seven π plans.
