Hello, I'm contemplating on owning a Pi speaker (Pi 4) for 3 months now but the only thing that is keeping me is the cabinet construction. I live in a small apartment right now (new house on the way, 2 months)and have no access to tools. I think my woodworking skill is not that great to be able to complete an enclosure for the Pi that I can display in my living room in the future. Anybody know anyone who builds this cabinet and can be shipped "knock-down" to me? Thanks very much. Hoping to be a Pi owner.

Alternatively, find a local cabinet/furniture maker and have one built for you. I'm sure you can get it done in the $500 range if you're not expecting exotic veneer or trims. Overall, it might be cheaper than the flat-pack idea because you don't have to pay for shipping. A pair of quality cabinets (even in flat-pack form) can weigh up to 100lbs. Gar.

At this time I'm concentrating only on the Wood Horns, and the Flat pack Horns. The cabinets are time and space consuming. I have enough to keep me busy with the horns. I'm considering doing to Turntable work and have lots of other things to do also. I'm not going anywhere and I want to say thanks for all the kind words and support regarding cabinets I have built. When the shop gets bigger I can start working on building a boat,, er I mean cabinets for speakers. Big speakers, 30hz horns the size of a car! So for now it's just Horns, Drivers and reconditioning. What is a flatpack horn? If this is a 7 pi horn, I would be interested, instead of the 4 pi, I could use my jbl drivers in the 7 pi setup, and later add the mid horn. Or is the mid horn the flat pack you refer to? Thanks, Russellc
