Hello,
Having searched the forum back when I was driver shopping, I found several posts about using the 2225 in place of the 2226 with equally excellent results. Having now aquired the 2225H and 2425H drivers I am now looking for cabinet options. I fired up the pi align software and ran the figures, assuming the results would be similar. for the most part the were, with the exception of the vent. Instead of the 2226 driver's requirement of something like 3x6x10, it was coming up with 3x4x4. The only signifigant figure that varies between the 2226 and the 2225 (as far as the program entries are concerned) is the Qts. This is to be used in calculating "Qd" for your soft ware.
The Qd for the 2226 is 2.5 (according to the info in the program, (which includes the 2226 but not the 2225), my calculations for the 2225 ended up being 2.25, not a lot of difference, but this is the figure which will calculate the smaller vent, uping to 2.5 gives the 2226's vent dimension. How have others who have used the 2225 addressed vent size? Does the standard vent ( as with the omega driver) work with the 2225, or does it need adjustment?

Thanks Russellc
