Yes I read the spec sheet but I cannot decipher what it says , I see M6 and 2.5" ..but that cannot be right.

Should I put anything else between the 2002 and H290? I noticed one of my horns does not lay perfectly flat, although it could cinch up when I bolt it on.

Also this is odd but my H290s look different from the back and one is a black satin and the other is a flat black....they clearly came off different molds.
I ordered another ...hopfully there is not a third mold!! ha ha!

James,

The 2 X 1/4-20 should be sufficient to mount the driver to horn. Quarter inch diametre bolt with 20 count thread. You're looking at a pretty short bolt, either half inch or 3/4". But there're only a dime each at Home Depot bulk bins, so you can probably afford both. Get some locking washers too.

Gar.

The PSD2002 has a cardboard gasket. It will seal up nicely to the H290 when you bolt 'em together.

The opposed pair of bolt holes are 1/4"-20's and 3/4" long works nicely. The three-hole mounts have M6 threads.

6mm x 18-22mm would work, yes. But the fastener head is close to the horn bell and harder to work with. Most complain about the near proximity when using these mounting holes.
