I will have to find out what the box tuning is...the bad part is their is no crossover so Id have to come up with something. I really want to build the 4 Pi Pros with all JBL motors just to get it off my back..but 2 of those kit are pretty spendy @ $1640 ..id be in them for a good $1800-$1900 after building some nice cabinets. Heck I could buy a pair of JBL SR4725X speaker for about $100 more and just throw some Pi crossovers in them. :-)

So hard to tell what is going on in the pictures. It looks like one TAD may have been beat up a little, and like they may have styrofoam beads embedded in the surrounds. Scarcely the end of the world, but could be disappointing, depending on the price. Dan

Excellent components, but I have not listened to any TAD so hard to say. I do know I like the sound of the JBL 2425H on a 2344A significantly better than a 2445H on a 2380A. Thus, this is not the path I would go down. The 2425 is about half the price of the 2445. Horns are about equivalent in price (used prices). Dan
