Wondering what's typical for room gain in a quarter or eighth space configuration for lower bass frequencies. I'm doing some modelling and want to take room gain into consideration. There was a mention in diysubwoofers.org that alignments that are flat below 30hz will sound boomy in a room and that a 1dB at 30hz and 9dB at 20hz room gain should be worked into the alignment model.

thanks,
gcl.
