It's taking me longer than I thought, but there's progress. I thought anybody interested in the 8pi would like to see a nearly framed up pair. I have the back to finish - the plan is to make it removable. I'm also thinking I'll use wood screws and a gasket to make the front baffle removable. I think the dimensions are pretty close to what Wayne intended, 24 wide, 16 deep and 36 tall. Halfway back the sides break and taper to 12 inches wide at the back. Total volume is 7 cu ft, but the horn and material takes up about 1.2 cu ft, and I've recessed the front baffle 1" so it should be down to around 5.5 cu ft. The front ports are 1.375 circles ( I didn't have a 1-5/8 cutter) cut on 3" centers and the ovals cut with a saber saw. That works out real close to 16.8 sq inches total area, per Wayne's recommendations.

I'm putting a page up with all the pictures I've taken. This has been fun. Let me know if you have any questions, or suggestions to make the descriptions more helpful.
