It has been a good while since I dropped in. I've been too poor to play (or tease myself with flights of fancy as is more to the point) for a few months, but I do tend to land on my feet and it is good to be back to a "normal"(and speaker building)life. I am very happy to see that I am just in time for the cool new midhorns. It was striking that upon my return to the forum, I find what I have been craving. A flat sided, vocal range midhorn. How cool is this?!! I have pondered rolling my own midhorn, and I knew this shape would give me the coverage and simplicity I desired, but worried about what the real results would look like up around 2K. I have heard some bad tales of midrange horn homebrews, so I stalled. I know it is a lot of fun to start without a clue, but I do not have the time I used to, so this clear option is a winner for me. I must build them!
Thanks,
Thomas
