Wayne you are nearly forcing me to start saw-dusting a pair of cornerhorns with 2245 and with the midrange horn and some kind of tweeter horn on top.

How low does i go ?

Sounds good, it could then even connect to a corner loaded lab horn if anynone wishes.

However an all-horn version of the audiophile pi-seven corner horn would be an absolute killer i'm sure --- and loud too !

The midhorn is 24" wide, 12" tall and 20" deep (including the driver). I'm still working on the eight π, but I expect it to be about 3 feet tall and two feet wide.

Yeah, that's what this midhorn was really for. The π cornerhorns were designed as a three-way, as was the ten π folded horn. In both cases, the woofer was expected to go to somewhere in the 300Hz to 600Hz range and then crossover to a midrange. I found that they ban be used much higher, and they sound great and look great too. Makes the system less complex. But there are benefits in having a dedicated midrange, and this one works well and looks good. It's a great mdeium-size vocal range horn.

Putting the horn in a corner room position is 1/8th space and will allow the horn to be used at a lower frequency. Free standing or only backed by a wall and floor the horn will rely on the mouth size more. generally speaking
