Little references come up and I go read the archives again. You mentioned the audiophile series 7-pi as a great match for the Paramours. The audiophile is a three-way, using the 2245, 2123, and 2426? I couldn't find the 2245 on the current JBL products list. Would the 2206 replace it? Could I please have copy of the plans? I hate to be a pest, but looking at the plans to the 10-pi cured me for now. Is the audiophile series limited to the corner horn or is there a 4-pi audiophile, too? Thanks very much for sharing all this - I found some veneer for the 2-pi towers and I'll post some pictures when I get them done.

The JBL 2206 is a 12" midwoofer, and the 2245 is an 18" subwoofer. You could use a 2241 or 2242 - both are 18" woofers - but the 2245 is tuned a little differently. It is tuned lower and better suited for the deep notes but doesn't generate as much midbass and can't handle as much power.
