Would there be any disadvantage to using the 18 in. side on a Theater 4 as the front baffle as opposed to the 24 in. side? I just think the slimmer profile would look better, but I didn't know if there would be issues with diffraction or standing waves.

Some people have made Theater four π speakers as towers; Just keep cabinet volume the same.
