The tweeter doesn't affect cabinet volume because it is so small.

I havn't listened to the KSN1038 unit before, but apparantly its pretty good with ~1% THD @ 4V. If you do replace it, make sure your replacing it with a part of better quality otherwise theres no point. Parts Express has millions to choose from!
