so i input all the specs for the Celestion G18Q-400 because i want to make a nice cabinet for electric bass...and everything seemed nice until i looked at the depth measurement. i used a 0.75" wood thickness offset too. anyway, it says 14 inches. that doesn't seem right at all for a cabinet with an 18" driver...what could i have done wrong? try it yourself, see if you get something better.

the specs for the G18Q-400 are as follows:

D 0.38m
Re 6.4ohm
Fs 32Hz
Qms 7.06
Qts 0.244
1/Qts - 4.09836
Qes 0.252
Mmt 99.2g
Cms 0.25mm/N
Vas 459l or 16.2094 Cu. Ft
Bl 22.4Tm
Rms 2.8kg/s

Hi horn,

I came up with 28.46 H, 18.97W, 12.65D internal measurments with zero displacement added. 12.65 + 1.5 would make the depth about 14" external as you figured. Doesn't sound unreasonable to me. Let us know how they turn out! Jerrod
