Hi Folks,
I made a single 4Pi box some time ago, and now I want to use it for
bass guitar. I've already bought carpet from PE to cover it, but
can't think of a good way to do a nice job on it. Does anyone have
some suggestions on how to accomplish this? The front will get grill
cloth, and I'm planning on black metal corners from PE. I was going
to use 3M super 77 for the glue.

I have built a number of carpeted boxes for dj gigs and used black/silver indoor outdoor carpet from Q Components in Canada. Have used the 3M spray, Lepages contact or Probond Contact cement(professional strength) with good results. Don't like white or green coloured contacts as they seem much too runny. Don't apply too heavy
as it might soak thru the carpeting.

Thanks for the pointer. Some nice articles. My problem is that the
box is completely sealed, with a flush back. I've build a 1x1 frame
for the front, so I can terminate the carpet in the front OK. Its
the back that's a problem. I guess I'll wing it and do my best.
This thing isn't on tour, just in the bedroom for now.
