Hi: I would like to put together a speaker system for a friend using JBL 2440 drivers. LX5 xovers, and 2235 woofers and need recommendations for a midrange horn suitable for 500hz. Also looking for enclosure suggestions & tweeters.
Thanks,
Stephen

You can use Martinelli or Edgar horns for your 2440's - Both are wood horns that sound great and are popular and attractive. If you are working with a budget, there are some plastic horns that will work very well for you too.

For the 2235's, PiAlign recomends a 4.0ft3 bass-reflex cabinet tuned to 30Hz. That would be my suggestion.
