Hi Wayne,
Saw this 18" Sigma Pro speakers in a local music store. Can this be used for the Paramours? Thanks. SMB

I haven't tried Eminence Sigma 18's on Paramours but If I was a betting man, I'd put money on 'em. I've run some pretty difficult loads on my Paramours and they still generate pretty solid bass. I've heard other small-signal amps get weak in the bass on some of the speakers that weren't "tube friendly" but the Paramours don't seem to mind nearly as much. Perhaps it's the parallel feel topology or maybe it's the transformer, I don't know. Maybe Paul Joppa will chime in and let us know. But at any rate, I'd expect the Sigma's to sound pretty darn good on the Paramours.

Hi Wayne,
Thanks for the response. What Pi speaker model can this fit in? Can I build this like a Stage series 4Pi with the PSD3003? Please feel free to suggest a better configuration. I would love the cornerhorns but I just don't have the corners right now :-) Edwin

The Sigma 18 works well in the Stage or Professional Series four π-18 cabinet. It works best in a cabinet of 3ft3-8ft3 tuned to 40Hz.
