I've run AIMSpice on both Windows NT 4.0 and Windows XP, which is based on the NT core. I've also run it on Windows 98, but that's more like the older 16/32 stuff. I've only run PSpice on Windows 98, so I'm not sure about that one, but I'd be very surprised if Orcad/PSpice weren't made to run on NT.

You might want to check the requirements/FAQ sections of AIMSpice and PSpice. Maybe there will be some suggestions that will help with troubleshooting.
