Here I go replying to one of my own messages again. The meeting was one of our best yet. All the Vandersteen models were set up in systems with appropriately priced electronics, each in its own room, so we could hear each in a good listening environment. We focused on the 5A, the Quatro, and the 3A. Joe and Mike Heusi, owners of Audio Concepts, treated us to a special experience. Using a sound meter and a Vandersteen test disk they used the Model 5's twelve equalizer controls to "tune" the subwoofer section to the room.
