Hi, I have a Valvestate which just makes a low noise when I switch it on. I've been able to start it by using a speaker cable which is open on one side (no plug, so I can see the two cables inside). Then after switch it on I quickly touch the two cables from the side without connector and then the amp starts allright. I see a spark. (Odd isn't it?)
Can anyone make a guess what's wrong with the amp? How can I fix it? Thanks.
