The Houston Audio Society's monthly meeting will be from 10:00 am to noon on January 13th. We will meet at HAS member Tony Landry's new house to see his media room, which occupies most of the 3rd floor. I visited Tony recently, and when he asked whether I wanted to take the stairs or the elevator, I knew I was in for something special. I was not wrong; it's really spectacular. We'll meet for lunch at a local restaurant afterward. First timers are alway welcome at our meetings. See the link below for directions:

It was a well-attended and enjoyable meeting. It's amazing how good a room can sound and how comfortable it can be when it's designed for audio. Tony has also incorporated a tweak that really improves the listening experiece. As you step off the eleveator into the 3rd floor foyer you are facing an alcove having a granite web bar with a wine cooler and a mini refrigerator below it. Life is good.
