I got a Sony DVP-NS755V and really like it. It is almost universal won't play Meridian MLP. But it does DD,DTS,MP3,CD, Video CD, SACD. Has decent bass management too! I got mine from Crutchfield it was cheaper than at Best Buy and the rest. Its low on the food chain as far as SACD goes but it does everything I need it to do reasonably well.
I just got a DVP-NC650V couldnt find any more of the older one everyone liked. I have no complaints with the audio. Its great. The dvd quality isnt as good as my JVC.
I got it at Best Buy for 189. I think you can order online from them if your too lazy to drive!
