I am a new member. I had the priviledge of listening to a Pi4 Theatre Speakers. I notice there is a small round hole somewhere at the bottom of the front speaker. Does this hole need to be always at the front and cannot be at the back of the speaker? Will it have any sound effect if it is located at the back?
Since I assume you're referring to the reflex opening the answer is yes, you can place it on the backside of the box if you wish. Just be carefull that nothing blocks it - there have to be 3-4" of free space behind the speakerbox, or else the speaker won't operate proberly in the bass. Same goes for inside the box, btw. - no damping material must block the opening.
