do you think the planar tweeter DAYTON Pt2 PLANAR TWEETER Part Number 275-085 Special: $24.80 EA in parts express are suitable to go with the Theater Pi 4 ? they look interesting, may be i can install two of them for each speaker to replace the psd 2002.

Sorry, but I don't have any experience with this tweeter. Be sure to check the sensitivity, frequency range and crossover requirements.

I tried a pair per channel Xover 1500 with 2226Hs. I liked the sound alot but sweet spot was very small. Move your head a foot and get different results. Others have reported 4 per channel is the way to go.

These tweeters are not that great if you compare them to
a good soft dome tweeter. I have eight of these (HiVi brand),
same as Dayton and if you use all eight in a line source, then
the sonics are very interesting and revealing, but a single unit
is not that spectacular. You get what you pay for, a $24 tweeter,
for that price it's not bad really. Make a line array - lol

I was wondering if any of you guys know if the Dayton Pt2 would work for in car use? I like the sound but the dispertion seems to bring up issues.
