Hey Wayne I have question about box size and volume. I am wondering if I keep the internal volume the same on a pair of studio 2 PI, but change the width/depth/height to 12" X12" X 22.85" would I be okay?

That would probably be just fine - Certainly the volume is correct. But I'm a little concerned about having both the width and the depth equal. The frequency of this wavelength is 1125Hz, so it might make vocals a bit odd if this overtone generated standing waves inside the cabinet. I suggest that you break it up by making one of the two dimensions a half-inch smaller and the other a half-inch larger.
