While I wait for my kits, I am having the wood cut for me (I live in a tiny apartment - no wood shop room).
2 questions:
1. Are the drivers surface mounted or do they need to be recessed?
2. Exactly how big is the hole on the back for the binding posts - the carpenter is doing all the cutting for me - and where on the back panel does it go? High, low, anywhere I want it?
Thanks
Jeff

The drivers can be surface mounted or routed flush for aesthetics. The connector panel cutout is 2.875" wide and 2.175" tall. Placement is not critical so it can be placed anywhere you want. Different models have them located in different positions, but it is almost always centered on the back panel, a couple of inches from the bottom.
