Hi Wayne,
I am a little confused at the baffle cutout of the front view of the 4Pi. The tweeter cutout is 11" centered on a 24" width, 3" below the top. I am confused about the 4 1/2" space on the side of the tweeter cutout because if I double the 4 1/2" space (left and right) and add the 11" tweeter cutout, that will only total 20" and not 24". Are my eyes not seeing what others are seeing? :-)
Best Regards,
SMB

You're right - the correct measurement should read 6 1/2" and not 4 1/2". This speaker used a Peavey CH-3 at one time, and when I redrew the plans, I missed that on the drawing. Ironically, I had corrected the plans in my archive directory for loudspeaker plans, but not in the distribution copies of E-Mails that I send out when people request 'em. So the printed plans I send with kits have been the correct version, but the E-Mailed copy was not. Now I've copied the archive copy to the distribution E-Mail, and I appreciate your pointing this out to me.
Confused no more :-) nt [message #40113 is a reply to message #40112] Fri, 31 January 2003 23:17 Go to previous message
