I replaced the Eminence coils in my Theater 4's with Alpha Core and like them. I can't say there was a profound improvement but there was some. The larger one on the woofer made more of a difference but time has made me forget the subtleties of sound difference. A search of the archives will turn up some initial comments of mine. I used an awl to poke a hole in the ribbon leads and drilled and screwed the leads into the circuit boards. I've heard of people soldering wire leads onto the ribbons afer folding the ribbon over the wire and lightly crimping. G.
