I plan on building some SET's myself. Just waiting on the money and deciding which one (SET) I will go with. I was thinking of the Paramours but I may do something a bit more powerful. I plan on matching with the Theater 4 or 7, it is a bit difficult to pass on the 2Pi Towers since they sound pretty darn good, ecpecially for the cost of about $300.00 complete. I do like the extra sensitivity of the Theater series. I just hope they sound as good, I know most here will recomend them over the Studio Series but I stiil like the philosophy and sound of a speaker with no XO. I will probably change my mind once I build the Theater speakers.

Hi! I'm not sure what you meant by the 'running out of space' remark on your post, but if you're referring to physical space for speakers, you might consider building a pair of 2pi that are something in between 2pi regulars & 2pi towers, size wise. With measurements (H*W*D) 40" * 13.6" * 12" you will get an internal volume of about 2½ cb.ft. & bass down to ~50Hz (-3dB) when the box is tuned to 40Hz. These will be floor standers, but somewhat smaller & less obtrusive than the towers. Just my 2 cents. :)
