Hi,
what happens, if I take the cornerhorn out of the corner? I suppose, that then the corner/horn loading effect goes away, but i can still listen to such a speaker, right?
Thanks,
K.

You guessed it. The spatial relationship changes, and the woofer isn't radiating in eighth-space so its sensitivity goes down. The speaker and crossover were designed with this in mind, so bass will be reduced and midrange and treble will be louder if cornerhorns are not used in corners.
