Hi Wayne and Happy End of '02,

In rewiring my Theater 4 crossover I broke off the lead to one .47uF cap in the compensation circuit and was wondering if I can get away with substituting a .39uF? Hate to go with out music for long.

Yes, you can use a 0.39uF in place of the 0.47uF. The highs might be a little more subdued, but not much. You can always replace the 0.47uF capacitor later if you want.

What was the original spec for the injured cap: .47uf ?volts?

.47uF @ 200V I think the spec. calls for. I was using an Audiocap Theta F&F @630V.
