A printed copy of the plans comes with each kit. And even though a printed copy is included, we also send plans by E-Mail when the order is received. Kits are usually sent the same day an order is received or at least in the next day or two. But you don't need to purchase kits to get the plans - Just send me your E-Mail address and I'll reply with them.As to the wood for making cabinets, the largest speakers are often made of plywood because of weight issues, that's true. Smaller ones are done in MDF. What's as important as the stock used for the panels is that they be braced. So install a brace that slightly preloads the panels every 18".
