hello! i have a question... is there any problem if i add a second order filter for a tweeter to a Pi crossover? should i remove the capacitor on the compensation network and leave it without further modifications? can i use a similar l-pad as in the compensation network to damp the tweeter?

thats all.... but... i`ll be back!

thanks!

To tell the truth, I don't suggest adding a super-tweeter. The speakers are designed to provide constant directivity across a wide horizontal spread with a fairly tall vertical forward lobe. The vertical nulls are spaced out far enough they aren't a problem, outside the pattern of the tweeter. When adding a super-tweeter, all that goes out the window. There would be lots of bands of interference as a result.
