Kits include the speaker drivers, the connector panel, hook up wires, "π" logo decal and a printed copy of the plans. For larger speakers that incorporate a compression tweeter and crossover network, kits also include the crossover, tweeter compensation cable assembly, Zobel woofer damper, and all cable assemblies are completed and ready to install. Every kit containing a compression driver also includes the horn flare and the bolts to mount the driver to the horn.

There's only two drivers, the woofer and the tweeter. Each kit has the components to build one loudspeaker system, and I'll agree with you that it's a good price. For a stereo pair, you'll need two kits.
Wayne, How many 4x8 sheets are needed to build a pair? Any other materials like insulation etc? Are they okay for HT use? What would I use for a center channel?

The one π and two π speakers sound very similar, but the bass extension of the two π is a little deeper. Both make great surrounds or dialog speakers. The two π tower has much deeper bass response than either of them, and makes better left or right channel main speakers, in my opinion.
Build them as shown in the plans, with R11 or R13 insulation on three cabinet sides. The towers will also need insulation spanning the cross-section, laying on braces one-third the way up from the bottom and one-third the way down from the top of the cabinet.
